Erick Trelles practices primarily in the area of business transactions, contractual disputes, and corporate governance.
Mr. Trelles was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016 and received his law degree from Florida International University (FIU) College of Law, where he graduated in the top 20% of his class and was on the Dean’s List several times. While in law school, he held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Criminal Law Society, executive board member of the Employment and Labor Law Society, and member of the Student Ambassador Committee. He also served as a law clerk to FIU’s General Counsel and as a Student Attorney for the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Trelles gained practical experience as a law clerk in various areas of law including personal injury, first party property litigation, and education law.
He earned his B.A., Summa Cum Laude, in 2011 from FIU, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. While attending FIU, he was an active executive board member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Mr. Trelles is a Miami native and is fluent in Spanish.
